Is it safe to take a picture of the lunar eclipse?
I just thought of this question because I'm thinking of taking a pic with my digital camera.
If I can but, for example can't have flash on for some reason, please say so.
Only reason I'm asking is because I know that you aren't supposed to look directlty at a solar eclipse.

Yes, it is safe.
The flash won't help you because the light from the flash won't reach the moon. The purpose of a fash is to illuminate the object you are photographing.
You are correct that one should not look directly at a solar eclipse.
